Collecta Fair Usage Policy
Last updated: May 13, 2024
To ensure fair usage of our service and to maintain quality and sustainability for all users (“gatherers”), we have established the following Fair Usage Policy.
1. Artifact limit
Each gatherer account is allowed to create and upload a maximum of 500 items (“artifacts”) per calendar month. These artifacts include images, bookmarks, and text notes collectively.
2. Types of artifacts
- Images: Users may upload images as artifacts. Each image uploaded counts as one artifact towards the monthly limit. The maximum file size for each image is 20 megabytes.
- Bookmarks: Gatherers may save bookmarks as artifacts. Each bookmark saved counts as one artifact towards the monthly limit.
- Text notes: Gatherers may create text notes as artifacts. Text notes are not counted towards the monthly limit as they have negligible storage impact.
3. Monitoring and enforcement
We monitor artifact usage to ensure compliance with this policy. If a gatherer exceeds the monthly artifact limit, they may be notified and/or their ability to create and upload new artifacts may be temporarily restricted until the start of the next calendar month.
4. Impact on service quality
Excessive usage of artifacts beyond the monthly limit may impact the performance and availability of our service for all gatherers. We reserve the right to take appropriate action to mitigate any such impacts, including but not limited to restricting or suspending accounts.
5. Amendments to policy
We may revise this Fair Usage Policy from time to time to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with our service goals. Any changes will be communicated to gatherers via email or through our platform.
6. Contact us
If you have any questions or concerns about this Fair Usage Policy, please contact us at [email protected].
By using our service, you agree to abide by this Fair Usage Policy. Failure to comply with this policy may result in account restrictions or suspension.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a fair and sustainable environment for all users.
